Taylor served as defensive coordinator at Peabody for 10 years, contributing to a 44-game winning streak and three state championships. Jay Taylor has been hired as the new West Carroll football coach, the school announced in a statement Tuesday. Taylor will replace Adam Dowland, who coached one season for the War Eagles and went 4-7 with several key players suffering injuries throughout the season.
