KENNEWICK, Wash. — 12 P.M.: Police arrested a woman at the scene. Apple Valley News Now saw police wielding what is believed to be the suspected weapon. It appeared to be a baton or stick with a taser at the end of it, commonly known as a "stun baton". At this time, it's unknown if there is more weapons or other people involved. UPDATE 11:20 A.M.: The Richland Police Department confirmed it is investigating a weapons complaint.

KENNEWICK, Wash. - The Kennewick Police Department is investigating a shooting that happened Monday night. The first witness calls came in around 6:14 p.m. They reported hearing several gunshots in the area of West Clearwater Avenue and North Edison Street, near the Safeway grocery store. People reported seeing three people, at least one of whom had a handgun, shoot at a vehicle. Witnesses said the three people then ran from the scene.

According to authorities, the incident happened around 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 17, at the store located at 867 North Columbia Center Boulevard. Detectives have been dispatched to the scene to begin investigating. Police officials stated they are not looking for any suspects at this time. Law enforcement officials are conducting a preliminary investigation at the scene.
