By Brandon Taylor MADISON (WKOW) - Madison police responded to the Kwik Trip gas station at 4402 East Buckeye Rd. Tuesday evening after several callers reported hearing three gunshots. When officers arrived, they discovered both the suspects and victims had already left the scene. An unrelated vehicle was hit by gunfire, but no injuries were reported. Officers are working to locate all those involved in the incident.

MADISON (WKOW) - Johnny is a 2-month-old puppy believed to be an Australian Cattle Dog mix. He was transferred to the Dane County Humane Society (DCHS) last week from an overcrowded shelter in Mississippi. According to Lisa Bernard from DCHS, Johnny is a sweet and friendly pup who loves leaning in for pets and playing with toys. He is looking for a family that will help him with his puppy training while providing plenty of fun adventures and snuggles.

MADISON (WKOW) -- The Dane County Sheriff's Office is seeking the public's assistance in locating a man who is currently absent without leave (AWOL) from the Jail Diversion program. Anthony L. Gilbert, 33, was reported AWOL Wednesday afternoon and was last seen in the area of Mallard Lane in the City of Madison. Gilbert is serving a sentence for Obstructing Justice and Possession of Methamphetamine. A warrant for his arrest has been issued.

MADISON (WKOW) - Madison police say a pedestrian was killed after being hit by a vehicle on Highway 12 near Fish Hatchery Road. The person was pronounced dead at the scene. The accident shut down US 12 from Fish Hatchery Road to Cannonball Path. According to a Wisconsin Department of Transportation notification, the crash happened at 7:05 p.m. Monday. Lanes were closed for two hours, but have since reopened. Authorities continue to investigate.

MADISON (WKOW) - A Madison police officer said they were kicked multiple times while responding to a disturbance at a coffee shop on East Main Street Friday evening. According to a release, police were called to the scene at 5:05 p.m. after witnesses reported seeing a woman push a man and attempt to take his belongings. Officers made contact with the woman, identified as Karen K. Hall, 49. During their interaction, Hall kicked one of the officers multiple times.
