    MADISON (WKOW) - Wisconsin guard John Tonje is one of 75 players the NBA is inviting to its 2025 Draft Combine. He is the only Badger in that group. The combine will take place at Wintrust Arena and the Marriott Marquis in Chicago from May 11 through May 18. Tonje played for Wisconsin in the 2024-25 season as a sixth-year graduate transfer. He finished with 724 points, the second most ever by a Badger, and averaged 19.6 points in 37 games.

    MADISON (WKOW) - WKOW-TV is experiencing a technical failure that is affecting the station's ability to broadcast news programming from its studio in Madison. The failure started Thursday morning and affected Wake Up Wisconsin and Wisconsin News Now at 11. A short-term fix allowed the station to broadcast its 4, 5, 6 and 10 p.m. newscasts on Thursday, but the equipment failure happened again Friday morning.
