A Manchester Airport bound flight was diverted due to 'disruptive passengers', it has been confirmed. The Jet2 flight LS881 from Alicante was part-way through its journey on Friday (April 25) when the decision was made to divert it to Barcelona. A Jet2 spokesperson confirmed: "Flight LS881 diverted to Barcelona so that police could offload some disruptive passengers.

"Brian was a loving husband, father, brother, grandad and friend"The family of a man who died after being hit by a bus have shared a touching tribute. Brian Norris, 69, was hit by a double-decker bus at the junction of Kirkhall lane and Atherleigh Way in Leigh, Wigan at around 3pm on Monday, March 31. Emergency services were called to the scene. Brian was taken to Salford Royal Hospital after an air ambulance was seen landing on the car park of an Asda store.
