CHICAGO (WGN) — A driver on North DuSable Lake Shore Drive was shot midday Tuesday near the Playpen in an apparent road rage dispute. The victim, a 32-year-old man, told authorities he was southbound near the 700 block of North DuSable Lake Shore Drive around 11:30 a.m. and had a conflict with the driver of a black Jaguar SUV. The male driver of the SUV pulled alongside the victim and opened fire, hitting the victim in the elbow, police said.
