Magic fall, Celtics take commanding series lead

The Orlando Magic lost their first home game of the postseason Sunday night 107-98. The Celtics take a 3-1 series lead and can close things out on their home court in Game 5. Paolo Banchero led the way in a losing effort once again with 31 points. Franz Wagner added 24. Game 5 is in Boston Tuesday night. The Magic fell to the Celtics in Boston 86-103. Boston now takes a 1-0 lead in this best of seven series. The Magic led the Celtics at halftime, but were undone in the third quarter. Boston outscored Orlando 30-16 in the third to take control.Paolo Banchero led the way with 36 points, Franz Wagner added 23 points as well.Game 2 is in Boston Wednesday at 7 pm.

Wednesday marked the first day high school football recruits in the class of 2025 could sign their letters of intent to accept scholarships to play football. The early signing period only lasts from Wednesday, Dec. 4, to Friday, Dec. 6. This is the earliest the NCAA has ever allowed recruits to sign. National Signing Day remains on Feb. 5, but most players will already have enrolled early to compete in spring football practices at their new institution.

High School Football Media Days kicks off in Orlando

Over the next three days, more than 100 high school football teams will cycle through Camping World Stadium in Orlando for High School Football Media Days in partnership with Florida Citrus Sports. Thursday, schools from Orange and Osceola counties will kick things off. Friday, it will be schools from Seminole, Lake, Sumter, Volusia and Flagler counties. Saturday, Brevard and Polk County schools will close things out.
