Federal prosecutors filed more deportation cases in President Donald Trump's first 100 days than in the past two years combined, according to a Free Press analysis. Local federal prosecutors are stepping up immigration cases in light of a Trump mandate to emphasize targeting immigrants who lack legal authorization to be in the U.S.Prosecutors did not cite any violent criminal record in most of the 112 immigration cases reviewed by the Free Press.
