SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - The Shreveport-Bossier gaming market had a great first quarter in 2025, according to an economic study conducted by LSU Shreveport. The study shows casinos had an 8.7% increase in revenue compared to the first quarter in 2024. LSUS economist, Douglas White, says he attributes the increase to the opening of Live! Casino & Hotel Louisiana. He says an expanding market means more people are coming into town and contributing to the local economy.
