    by GABRIEL HATHAWAY After much community pushback, the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) is no longer planning to close Highway 35 and detour traffic between Treampealeau and Holmen to reconstruct three bridges. Instead, WisDOT is now planning to build temporary bridges to keep traffic flowing during construction. WisDOT is planning a public meeting later this month to gather more community feedback.
