CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - A Cleveland eighth grader is shocked after being robbed at gunpoint on Wednesday after school. The St. Jerome Elementary student was headed to a convenience store down East 152 and Lakeshore Boulevard. He told 19 News he was with his twin sister when a couple of other teens approached them and demanded his ski mask. A thin ski mask is popular among teens as a fashion statement. At first, he refused.

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) -Back in November of 1975, Detective William Prochazka of Bedford Heights was shot and killed in the line of duty. He was bringing mug shots to people in the Southgate Shopping Center to look at a robbery suspect. When he walked into a paint store one of four robbers shot him in his neck. He never made it home. Jessica Riley is Detective Prochazka’s granddaughter. “This happened 50 years ago and I just turned 42.
