New York (CNN) — A majority of Black Americans say they feel at least somewhat successful but nevertheless feel financial pressures regardless of income, according to a new survey released Thursday by the Pew Research Center. The survey of more than 4,700 Black Americans sought their views on what constitutes success — how they define it, how they view themselves in that context and the concerns they have in achieving it.

Continuing protests to put pressure on Wisconsin legislators will come to the University of Wisconsin-Madison’s campus this weekend. “Stop the Hate: Build People’s Unity” will be held on Saturday, Feb. 10 at 1 p.m. at UW-Madison’s Library Mall, 728 State St.Another rally in support of a ceasefire in Gaza, labor and against hate will be held this coming Saturday at UW-Madison.

Talented concert pianist Stewart Goodyear will be making a return to the Overture Center on Feb. 16 for “Goodyear Returns,” with a pre-concert discussion and three beautiful compositions starting at 7:30 p.m. Goodyear has visited Madison three times before and helped to open the Capitol Theater in 2005 as he and Kathleen Battle held the first performances in the Overture Center Hall.
