To pot your plants? “We’ve had a lot of traffic, lots of customers, you know, looking to get going and get their plants potted and things like that,” said Heidi Teal, co-owner of the Cliff Avenue Greenhouse on Thursday. These customers may be getting ahead of themselves though, in some cases.

(KELO) — The housing market in the Sioux Falls area has been somewhat of a rollercoaster for the past several years, with homes flying off the market at one point, and sale times dragging on at another. “Stuff has been looking a lot better recently,” said Brady Daly, a designated broker with Hegg Realtors. “New listings have been up, year over year.”The big thing that Daly emphasized is that things are going under contract.

But his musical talents are anything but minor, and people are starting to take note. Recently, the South Dakota State University Choirs performed at the SDSU Foundation’s Celebration of Philanthropy, and one of those performances was a rendition of “Dancing Through Life” from the musical “Wicked.”Stevens performed as the lead soloist in this arrangement.

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — The JOANN fabrics store in Brookings was in its final hours of operations on the afternoon of Monday, April 28, set to close along with hundreds of other stores across the nation. The company, which has filed for bankruptcy, has been running liquidation sales across the board, offering 40-70% off. The company also notes that online purchases were disabled in March, and warns of online scams. Purchases can only be made in-stores.
