SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — Jacob Stevens is a junior at SDSU, double majoring in theater and communications, with a minor in music. But his musical talents are anything but minor, and people are starting to take note. Recently, the South Dakota State University Choirs performed at the SDSU Foundation’s Celebration of Philanthropy, and one of those performances was a rendition of “Dancing Through Life” from the musical “Wicked.”Stevens performed as the lead soloist in this arrangement.

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — The JOANN fabrics store in Brookings was in its final hours of operations on the afternoon of Monday, April 28, set to close along with hundreds of other stores across the nation. The company, which has filed for bankruptcy, has been running liquidation sales across the board, offering 40-70% off. The company also notes that online purchases were disabled in March, and warns of online scams. Purchases can only be made in-stores.
