ROCHESTER, NY (WROC) – There were dozens of storm reports across the region Tuesday as a cold front dragged across the region. That boundary is out and much cooler air is here today. Expect temperatures to remain in the 40s and 50s throughout the day. Flow turns southerly Thursday and that pushes highs into the upper 60s and lower 70s. A large and slow moving surface low will bring rain Thursday evening into Friday.

ROCHESTER, NY (WROC) – Temperatures spike into the upper 60s today as we have a few rounds of showers and storms moving overhead. The first round is a warm front that will spit out showers through lunchtime. It’s a breezy afternoon and the second round of rain comes along a line of showers and storms later this afternoon and tonight. That line of storms could come with some gusty winds, but it’s unlikely that there are any severe storms to move through Monroe County.

A Yuma former police officer, arrested more than five years ago on dozens of charges related to child sexual abuse, has accepted a plea agreement, thereby avoiding a jury trial. Bobby Anthony Garcia, 43, pleaded guilty on April 8 to three felony counts: sexual conduct with a minor, molestation of a minor per domestic violence, and attempted sexual exploitation of a minor. Under the terms of the agreement, prosecutors dropped the remaining charges ahead of his scheduled trial.
