ROCHESTER, NY (WROC) – The large storm system that moved in Thursday is spinning light rain showers throughout the day. Temperatures are stuck in the upper 30s and lower 40s. Most are getting a drizzle with accumulation less than half an inch. The storm is moving so slowly that it is probably going to linger through the weekend. Saturday morning will start in the 30s and finish in the 40s with a pesky drizzle around throughout a good portion of the day.

ROCHESTER, NY (WROC) – A wintry mix is on the way for the region as temperatures hold in the 30s and 40s. That mix switches over to rain showers this afternoon and we have rain that engulfs the region through tonight and a good portion of your Friday. Saturday will also feature rain showers, but the low pressure will be kicking out east. Temperatures are stuck in the 40s. The system exits east by Sunday and this should allow for us to get a decent little warmup.

ROCHESTER, NY (WROC) – We get to enjoy some sunshine for you today with temperatures starting in the 20s and finishing around 40 degrees. That is much colder than we should be for the 9th of April, but at least it does not bring snow with it. Rochester recorded over an inch of snow Tuesday. Our next storm system will arrive Thursday and it will bring rain and snow showers to New York State. The changeover to rain will happen quickly as numbers get well above freezing in the afternoon.

Another weekend means rain in Rochester! Enjoy Sunday! https://t.co/mAglyxdam4

I've been on puddle watch all morning and... nothing has changed. It's still raining, and we are still in the low 40s. This will look the same all day. https://t.co/JB4Y8UioWE

Happy Friday! That's the only good part about today. It is unpleasant out there. Light rain, or as I like to call it Mr. Drizzle, is expected through most of today. https://t.co/dZicIqyou3
