PALMER LAKE — The popular convenience store Buc-ee's could be coming to Palmer Lake. The town is having a meeting about the possibility of a flagpole annexation of county land. Mayor of Palmer Lake Glant Havenar tells News5 she posted details about the multi-stage process on her Facebook page so the community can better understand what's next, but she says this is very early on and no decisions have been made.

DENVER — Pilots with Denver-based Frontier Airlines took the first step toward a possible strike on Tuesday. About 97% of pilots participated in a strike authorization vote. Of those, 99% voted in favor of a strike if necessary, according to Captain Michael Maynard, chairman of the Air Line Pilot's Association executive council. "This is one step along the way," said Captain Alan Christie with Frontier Airlines.

GOLDEN, Colo. — One year into testing a four-day, 32-hour workweek, the Golden Police Department reports positive results in employee retention, community engagement, and productivity. The trial program began last summer as the City of Golden sought new ways to attract and retain employees, particularly for the police department. "I might be one of the fewest agencies in the state of Colorado that is fully staffed," said Golden Police Chief Joe Harvey.
