A new analysis from national apartment search platform RentCafe pegged Phoenix as a trending metro for millionaire renters, ranking it No. 6 in the nation for its growth factor. Across the Valley, the percentage of millionaire households that rent has grown 519% between 2019 and 2023.

    PHOENIX — Phoenix is one of the nation’s top draws for corporate headquarters, according to a new report from CBRE. The report ranked Phoenix No. 4 in the U.S. for gaining the most corporate headquarters between 2018 and 2024. During that time, the Valley added 31 new HQs, which was the same amount gained by Houston. Only Dallas, Austin and Nashville came in ahead of the Phoenix metro.

    Nine Arizona-based companies appear on the freshly released 2025 edition of the prestigious Fortune 500 list of the largest public companies in the nation, ranked by revenue. That total was one shy of last year’s number for the Grand Canyon State as a couple companies dropped off the list and a new one joined. At the top for Arizona was Phoenix-based global mining giant Freeport-McMoRan Inc., which made a nine-spot jump from No. 178 last year to No. 169 this year on the Fortune 500.

    SCOTTSDALE, AZ — Scottsdale is adding millionaires at a higher rate than just about every other city in the world. By last year, Scottsdale’s total population included 14,800 millionaires, which was 125% more than a decade earlier — a growth rate ahead of every city in the world except Shenzhen, China. That is according to Henley & Partners’ recently released list of the World’s Fastest Growing Wealth Hubs, which measured the percent change in millionaires between 2014 and 2024.
