Kyle Tice was stopped by Elmira police in February and police reported a 16-year-old girl who had been reported missing was in his car. The girl reportedly told police Tice had been sexually abusing her, and a subsequent investigation turned up evidence of repeated sexual contact and electronic recordings of those encounters. A Chemung County grand jury indicted Tice on 49 felonies, including use of a child in a sexual performance, promoting a sexual performance by a child, and third-degree rape.
