The Arizona Diamondbacks' weekend series against the Los Angeles Dodgers wasn't particularly successful, but at least the team looked good while they were playing. On Friday and Saturday night, the team wore their new jerseys, which blend last year's popular Serpientes logo with the Diamondbacks' original purple and teal colors. They'll continue to wear the jerseys during every Friday home game throughout the rest of the 2025 season.

Last night, the nearly sold-out crowd at Glendale's State Farm Stadium came for a killer show by The Weeknd. They got it. The opening show of Abel Tefaye's After Hours Til Dawn 2025 tour was two hours of eye-popping, body-moving spectacle, complete with enough cross imagery, columns of flame and weird costumes that people (and by people, I mean me) joked/not-joked that the whole production was some kind of energy-harvesting occult ritual.

The Weeknd returned to State Farm Stadium on Friday, May 9, for the opening show of his After Hours Til Dawn tour. After opening performances by Mike Dean and Playboy Carti, the 35-year-old Canadian superstar (born Abel Tesfaye) appeared in a sparkling black robe with a hood and a chrome mask with glowing eyes that covered half his face. The two-hour set that followed dazzled eyes and ears with smash hits, new tracks and a few surprises, all set to dramatic, often religiously influenced visuals.

Actor and comedian Jo Koy announced a tour Monday morning, and Phoenix is on the schedule. He'll crack up the crowd at PHX Arena on Nov. 22, 2025. Koy's career began in the mid-'90s at Vegas open mics and really took off during his stint as a regular guest on Chelsea Handler's "Chelsey Lately" talk show from 2009 to 2014.
