The move is meant to prevent overcrowding at Bennett and Centennial Elementary Schools until the district is able to build a new elementary school, likely 7 or 8 years down the road. “I think one of the questions I get asked is why don’t we build a new elementary now,” says associate superintendent Missy Eidsness.

    GRAND FORKS, N.D. (Valley News Live) - One Grand Forks teen is seriously hurt after a crash involving a motorcycle and a pickup crash in the northern valley Thursday night. According to the Grand Forks Police Department the crash happened just after 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 22, at the intersection of 32nd Ave S. and S. 31st St.They say the motorcycle, driven by 18-year-old Jordan Anderson, hit a pickup truck as it was making a left turn. The motorcycle got lodged underneath the truck.
