    FARGO, N.D. (KFYR/KMOT) – A federal judge sentenced a Belcourt man to life in prison following an investigation into a series of assaults on women. Federal prosecutors said 44-year-old Justin L. Baker received the life sentence for beating, choking, threatening to kill and sexually assaulting two women he had relationships with. One victim described excruciating pain and losing consciousness during Baker’s assault. Another victim said Baker held her captive in a camper.

Authorities say the vehicle was headed south on Burleigh County Road 249th Street Southeast, south of Wing, when it went into the ditch, up an approach, went airborne and rolled.     BISMARCK, N.D. (KFYR) - A U.S. District Court Judge has sentenced a Fort Totten man to 30 years in prison for sexually abusing three children over three years.     JAMESTOWN, N.D. (KFYR) - Jamestown Police are on the lookout for a man witnesses say told four people to leave Leapaldt Park around 6 p.m., then fired a gun in their general direction. He was described as an intoxicated Native American wearing dark baggy clothes. Officers found two shell casings and a black hoodie but did not find the suspected shooter.
