After a closing shift at work, Watt was headed to her car to grab her gym bag and meet her boyfriend for a workout. She wasn't planning on seeing a 2 1/2-foot-long snake next to her gym bag. "It was just chillin' in the back and I just kind of lost my mind," Watt said. Norris grabbed a stick and used the stick to fling the snake out of the car, Watt said. The pair then started slowly taking everything out of the car to check if the snake had any friends hanging out with it.

PRESCOTT VALLEY, Ariz. — An 11-year-old boy has his Prescott Valley community to thank for the safe return of his German Shepherd, Cedar. Cedar ran away from the vehicle he was traveling in after a crash near Robert Road and Highway 89A on Jan. 22. Cedar's owner, an 11-year-old boy, was transported to the hospital. But he told Prescott Valley police officers he was concerned for Cedar's safety after he fled.
