Two Janesville teenagers arrested for armed robbery

JANESVILLE, Wis. -- The Janesville Police Dept. said its officers arrested two teenagers for an armed robbery that took place Tuesday morning. According to a press release, officers responded at around 10:30 a.m. Tuesday after a woman walking her dog reported two teenagers walked up to her, both holding handguns, and demanded she hand over her things. The woman was able to get the license plate of the car the suspects used as they drove off.

MOUNT HOREB, Wis. -- The Mount Horeb School District announced classes were cancelled Tuesday after busses were stranded in the cold weather. Superintendent Steve Salerno sent out a message to parents just after 7 a.m. Tuesday, saying the fuel tanks on the busses were getting gelled up in the negative-degree temperatures. "Each winter we make sure to use additives to our fuel lines," Salerno said in his email.

MADISON, Wis. -- Madison police have released photos of the man they think is responsible for a string of attempted burglaries. Officers said the man broke into a number of businesses on the east side and downtown in early January. Surveillance photos depict the man wearing a ski mask. MADISON, Wis. -- A total of 13 people have been displaced by a fire on Madison's east side early Tuesday morning. Two blocks of Milwaukee Street were closed as crews responded to the residential fire. The call came in just after 3 a.m., according to Dane County dispatch. Fox 47's crew reported the building is residential and appears to be a duplex. Seven units from the Madison Fire Department responded. A portion of Milwaukee Street remained closed as of 4:45 a.m. Tuesday. A Madison Fire Dept.
