MARTIN TOWNSHIP, Mich. On Thursday night, Storm Team 8 saw a debris ball on radar over the Martin area in southeastern Allegan County. West of town, the storm sheared the roof off a barn and blew down the walls.

Over 600 instances of severe weather were reported Sunday from Michigan to the deep south. GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — We’ll squeeze one more day out of this mild pattern that will go through dramatic changes through the next 24 hours. An area of low pressure will move into Lower Michigan Wednesday night, bringing with it a chance of storms. The Storm Prediction Center has shifted the marginal risk (level 1 of 5) further north to US-10 and has upgraded areas from South Haven to just south of Kalamazoo to Coldwater in a slight risk (level 2 of 5).

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — It’s not uncommon for the first big warm to occur with a threat of severe weather. This looks to be the case for many in the Midwest and Great Lakes Friday night into Saturday morning. As a strong warm front lifts across portions of the Midwest, a strong line of thunderstorms will materialize late Friday evening. West Michigan will have to wait until after midnight for our threat to materialize.

After a couple more cool days with a chance of showers mid-week we will finally break out of this cool temperature pattern one June arrives. #wmiwx #miwx https://t.co/esLveZvACK

It has been quite a cool, persistent stretch of late spring wx. Today will mark ten consecutive days w/ below average temps. This past week alone temps are running a whopping eleven degrees below average. Warmer temps are on the horizon as we flip the calendar to June. #wmiwx https://t.co/GM2gpbA3he
