The Arizona Diamondbacks revealed their new City Connect uniforms on May 5, sticking with the “Serpientes” branding but switching to purple as the primary color, a sort of homage to the early days of the franchise. Not only have fans wanted to go back to purple for years (the organization stopped wearing the color after the 2006 season), but players, too, have long been clamoring for change.
