It is a sad ending to the long search for the Zoldan family dog. Bruce Zoldan confirmed with 21 News that his dog Cipriani was found deceased recently in a lake on his property. The family's dog went missing on January 17, and he, and his family spent months looking and asking for the public's help locating their missing dog. Zoldan told 21 News that Cipriani must have fallen through the ice on a lake on his property.

Two separate crashes along US Interstate 76 near the Turnpike off ramp happened after 3 p.m. Tuesday. The first crash involved a jackknifed semi hauling other semis that went into the roadway's median, and the second crash involved two vehicles near the first crash. The new owner of the Southern Park Mall is delinquent on its first half county taxes. According to the Mahoning Auditor website, Kohan Retail Investment Group purchased the mall from Washington Prime Group in late December, and owes $437,837.11 for the first half taxes, which were due on March 7. Mahoning County Auditor Ralph Meacham said the company has incurred a 10 percent penalty—$43,783.71—and is also incurring interest on the late taxes.
