WORTHINGTON — Photographer, storyteller and historian Doug Ohman will visit Worthington's Ecumen Meadows April 15 as he tours southwest Minnesota to present Minnesota’s Scandinavian landmarks as part of a library tour. The presentation will focus on Scandinavian landmarks throughout the state, covering statues, churches, homes and other structures.

Francis "Red" L. Koehne, age 89, was born on August 23, 1935 in Lismore, MN to Anton and Mary (Wilberding) Koehne.  Francis graduated from St. Anthony’s High School in 1953.  He worked for the Lismore elevator until 1955, then worked for J.L. Healy Construction in Sioux Falls until 1957. Francis married Colleen Probst in Wilmont, MN on February 15, 1958.  They moved to Albert Lea where he worked for Culligan from 1958-1960. He worked for Hebig Hardware from 1960-1964.

Patricia (Trich/Pat) Ann (Schroeder) Hooge, 72, entered into the presence of the Lord on March 26, 2025.  She was born on May 28, 1952, a date that marked the beginning of a life filled with kindness, love, gratitude, and generosity. Trich's lasting legacy is one of selfless devotion to her family and friends. Daily prayers and giving of her time and energy to those she loved were hallmarks of her character. She truly lived her values and served others. Trich was blessed with the gift of hospitality.
