BenitoLink is a nonprofit news platform dedicated to the people of San Benito County. Established in 2012 with support from the Knight Foundation, local residents, and the Community Foundation for San Benito County, we transitioned to a standalone 501(c)(3) organization in December 2015. Our mission is to serve everyone in San Benito County and we are located in Hollister, California. As a community-driven nonprofit, BenitoLink aims to amplify diverse voices and deliver unbiased news and information.

Though production stopped in 2003 because the company was unable to make it profitable, Corbin is not done with this car yet. At the age of 81, his passion for innovation remains strong.

    Bruce John Bannister went home to be with the Lord on June 9, 2025, at the age of 73. He died peacefully at home surrounded by his family after a lengthy battle with cancer. Bruce was born in San Jose, CA, on May 27, 1952, to John and Ruth Bannister. At eight-years-old, Bruce went forward at church to receive Christ. He was forever changed and lived his entire life serving the Lord he loved.
