BenitoLink is a nonprofit news platform dedicated to the people of San Benito County. Established in 2012 with support from the Knight Foundation, local residents, and the Community Foundation for San Benito County, we transitioned to a standalone 501(c)(3) organization in December 2015. Our mission is to serve everyone in San Benito County and we are located in Hollister, California. As a community-driven nonprofit, BenitoLink aims to amplify diverse voices and deliver unbiased news and information.

Both agencies have asked Hollister to reconsider the terms that were offered in March. At the San Benito County Board of Supervisors April 15 meeting, Supervisor Mindy Sotelo said the county cannot afford the cost increase, which comes with an additional 8% annual increase.

The girls scored 86-84, for an overall 6-0 record for the season, and the boys scored 90-62, for a 3-2 record. The girls’ win places them at the top of the Cypress Division of the Pacific Coast Athletic League. The boys are second in their division.
