Current estimated costs for the 270,000-square-foot building on Little Lion Drive are $127.9 million to $136.9 million including site work, construction, escalation estimates, soft costs and contingencies, according to a presentation by Jeff Straub of project architect Crabtree, Rohrbaugh & Associates.

Local letter carriers will once again join a nationwide effort to battle food insecurity with the annual Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive on Saturday. Post offices in State College, Bellefonte, Boalsburg, Lemont and Pine Grove Mills will be participating in the collection. Residents are asked to leave non-perishable food items at their mailboxes or drop them off at their local post office.
