Eater Twin Cities

Eater is a prominent food and dining website that is part of the Vox Media family. It was founded in 2005 by Lockhart Steele and Ben Leventhal, initially concentrating on the dining and nightlife scene in New York City. In 2009, Eater expanded to a national platform, and by 2012, it was covering nearly 20 cities across the United States. In late 2013, Vox Media acquired Eater along with two other sites that were part of the Curbed Network. By 2017, Eater had grown to include approximately 25 local sites in the U.S., Canada, and England. The site has earned recognition from the James Beard Foundation Awards on four occasions.
