KNX is an AM radio station located in Los Angeles, California, broadcasting at 1070 kHz. It is part of Entercom's network of eight all-news format stations. KNX is notable for being one of the oldest radio stations in the U.S., having received its original broadcasting license as KGC back in December 1921. Its history actually goes back even further, to the operations of an earlier amateur station that started in September 1920.
