KROQ-FM (106.7 FM, often called "kay-rock") is a radio station located in Pasadena, California, serving the Greater Los Angeles Area. Owned by Entercom, it features an Alternative rock format and is known as The World Famous KROQ. The station's studios are situated at the busy intersection of Venice Boulevard and Fairfax Avenue in West Los Angeles' Crestview neighborhood, while its transmitter is located in the Verdugo Mountains. KROQ was the original home of the popular shows Kevin and Bean, which was updated to "Kevin in the Mornings With Allie & Jensen" in 2019, and Loveline, initially hosted by Jim "The Poorman" Trenton with Dr. Drew Pinsky and later by "Psycho" Mike Catherwood alongside Pinsky. The main rival of KROQ is KYSR, owned by iHeartMedia.

Last week there was a near drowning of a father and son that were trapped in the current. The same place where the man died.     SUFFIELD, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - Five corrections officers were taken to a local hospital after an inmate overdosed at MacDougall-Walker Correctional Institution in Suffield. Five officers responded to a cell where an inmate appeared to be having an overdose around 1 1 a.m. Friday. The inmate was administered a dose of Narcan before they were taken to a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. The five officers later reported feeling dizzy and tingling in their extremities.
