    Ms Kelly has been quoted €7,000 for the steel fencing, which she says is massively out of her budget. However, she says that it is vital that Arnold is kept safe. She is hoping to fundraise €3,000 towards the fencing. "I'm asking if you have a few spare euro to donate to his fencing I would be so grateful. I've raised money for animal charities over the past five years, and realised that I have taken in 17 rescue animals  myself over the years. I'm becoming the charity," Ms Kelly joked.

    Two Laois TDs have joined an Oireachtas Heart and Stroke group to back urgent calls for a new national cardiovascular disease (CVD) health policy. Independent Republican Brian Stanley TD and Fine Gael TD Willie Aird have become advocates for the thousands of heart disease and stroke patients in their constituency. Ten thousand lives a year are claimed by CVD (cardiovascular disease), Ireland’s biggest killer, accounting for almost 30% of all deaths.
