The black/tan female dog was found by a member of the public in the Hartlebury Common area on the evening of May 7 and was taken to a vets in Kidderminster. There she was euthanised on welfare grounds and the RSPCA were notified. It is appealing for information to track down where the dog came from. RSPCA Inspector Emily Cheeseman - who has been making enquiries - said: “This poor dog was emaciated, dehydrated and was having seizures. "She also had terrible matted fur.

The approval of district planners allows Anupam in Church Street to expand its dining area. Plans submitted to Malvern Hills District Council show the restaurant wants to demolish an existing conservatory area and replace it with an “elevated extension”. Anupam is located on the first floor of 85 Church Street and is accessed via a staircase off a passage between two ground-floor properties.
