Property company Bruntwood and Trafford council have tabled the scheme for the 7,000 sq ft space in the Stamford Quarter, vacated by the discount retailer last summer. It forms part of the major regeneration of the area, which includes the creation of Foundation, a 4,000 sq ft collaborative workspace and leisure destination. The plans also include a living biophilic – meaning covered with plants – external facade that includes outlets like Nell’s Pizza, Yum Cha, Lane 7 and Starbucks.
