The Times series consists of a collection of weekly newspapers from north London, published by Newsquest. This series features the Barnet & Potters Bar Times, Borehamwood & Elstree Times, Edgware & Mill Hill Times, and the Hendon & Finchley Times. Most of these newspapers are distributed for free, with only a limited number available for purchase. As of October 2014, the combined readership of these four publications was 72,707.

Enfield Council’s watercourses team has suggested a plan to restore the “polluted” Pymmes Brook, which runs through the park, by putting back meanders - adding natural-looking bends - and possibly enabling the water to spill out more across sections of floodplain.
