Peel residents, during their regular recycling day in the two-week period starting Easter Monday, April 21, can be put their unwanted batteries out to the curb, and here’s how Peel Region, in its news release, says to do it.

The Easter long weekend is upon from Friday to Monday and here’s a handy list of what will be open and closed in Peel Region. MiWay and Brampton Transit will operate on holiday schedules on Good Friday, April 18. GO Transit will be operating on its Saturday schedule on April 18. Trips on Peel’s TransHelp for Friday, April 18 and Saturday, April 19 have to be booked by 7 p.m. Thursday, April 17, according to a media release from the region.

Nguyen is a student at Toronto Metropolitan University who also works as a court reporter, according to his NDP profile. The profile also says he was born and raised in Mississauga and believes in a “fair justice system that serves everyone, not just the privileged few.” Mississauga Centre is the city’s only federal riding without a Liberal incumbent running in this election.
