The new incentive was announced Wednesday, June 5, at Halton police headquarters in Oakville, where the crime prevention charity launched a campaign aimed at targeting human trafficking across the Greater Golden Horseshoe.

    Since the arrival of photo radar in Oakville on Jan. 20, one neighbourhood camera has been vandalized nine times. The Town of Oakville confirmed the automated speed enforcement (ASE) camera at Nottinghill Gate has been spray-painted, pushed over and had its glass shattered since its installation. One area resident said the camera was defaced with graffiti as recently as the week of May 25.
