The Commercial Dispatch serves as the daily newspaper for Columbus, Mississippi, USA. It emerged in the early 1900s from the combination of two earlier publications, the Commercial and the Dispatch. The first edition of this unified newspaper hit the stands on March 12, 1922. It is published six days a week, with no issue released on Mondays, using a Goss Urbanite press at its headquarters. This newspaper has been a longstanding, family-run enterprise and a vital part of the community. The present editor and publisher is Birney Imes III.
