The theft occurred in Church Meadow, Milton Under Wychwood, near Chipping Norton, overnight on Sunday, June 23, in the early hours of Monday at about 2.45am. Thames Valley Police for Cherwell and West are now appealing for anyone who lives in the surrounding area to check security footage and come forward with any information.

3 1/1 A manhunt has been launched for a man who exposed himself to drivers on an overbridge of the M40 in Oxfordshire. The incident occurred at on the M40 junction 11 at Banbury on June 18, at about 5.45pm, in which a male was standing on the overbridge exposing himself. Thames Valley Police for Cherwell have today (June 20) launched an appeal for anyone who witnessed the exposure incident to come forward.

Jennie Logan, from Bicester, died while tackling the blaze on Buckingham Road on May 15. She was the second female firefighter to die on duty in peacetime, following Fleur Lombard, 21, who died in Bristol in 1996. The 30-year-old was given a full ceremonial fire service funeral, with mourners paying tribute to her bravery, fearlessness and dedication to Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Service.
