The Laredo Morning Times is a daily newspaper located in Laredo, Texas, USA, and is part of the Hearst Corporation. Originally launched on June 14, 1881, as the Laredo Weekly by James Saunders Penn, it was a four-page publication. Two years later, it transitioned to a daily format, rebranding as the Laredo Daily Times. In 1986, William B. Green took the helm as the ninth publisher of the Laredo Morning Times, which began its journey in a small corner of a downtown building on Farragut Street in Laredo.
