TEWKSBURY — The Tewksbury Select Board met on April 29, 2025 at town hall. The board discussed Verizon cable television license renewal proceedings. The town’s negotiating attorney Bill August noted that towns are unable to negotiate fee rates, but can seek financial support from cable companies for public, educational and governmental local programming in exchange for use of taxpayer-owned airwaves.

TEWKSBURY — The first night of annual Town Meeting was held on May 5, 2025, at 7:30 p.m. at Tewksbury Memorial High School. 115 residents attended the two-and-a-half hour long meeting. The meeting was the first for John Curran as Tewksbury’s new town manager, who fielded several questions from residents regarding the town’s financial plan. Article 1 was adopted to elect town officers.

TEWKSBURY — The Tewksbury Planning Board met on April 28, 2025 at Tewksbury Town Hall. Member Vinny Fratalia updated the committee on the new Soldier On veterans housing project at 1660 Main St. The building is now open and will house 21 veterans; the project was supported by federal, state and local housing funds, as well as Tewksbury Home Build. The 21 units will count towards the town’s affordable housing inventory.
