The station is licensed to Morningside, with its studios located in the Navy Yard area of Southeast D.C. Broadcasting on the FM frequency of 95.5 MHz, WPGC-FM operates at an effective radiated power of 50 kilowatts (kW) from its tower situated in Capitol Heights, Maryland. Previously, the WPGC name was also used by a sister station, WPGC 1580 AM, which focused on urban gospel music; however, that AM station now broadcasts Spanish-language sports as WJFK.
