The boxes will be placed in public where people can pick up and donate non perishable food and clothes for those in need. 19 News spoke with 3 students that are in the home maintenance class about their experience.

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - 10-year-old German Shepherd Besa is with the Ohio Special Response team. She was brought to Cleveland for the Pet Expo held at the I-X Center. Besa is trained and certified to find people in danger. Whether that’s after a natural disaster or helping find people hiding. But what truly sets her a part ? She’s the only dog in the nation to achieve the “Human Trafficking” qualification from the United States Police Canine Association.

TWINSBURG, Ohio (WOIO) - Lightning caused havoc in Northeast Ohio Wednesday. A house was struck in Twinsburg Wednesday afternoon. JoJo and her husband Myroslav told 19 News when the fire started both their mothers and their 13-month-old daughter were inside. “We were really worried about them,” said Myroslav. “That’s why we rushed here as soon as we can”. 19 News crews were on the scene as fire crews tried to put out the flames. The damage done was extensive.

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO/Gray News) - A car accident victim has a truck driver to thank for saving her life. Officials say the driver, a 28-year-old woman, was traveling on Interstate 90 West near W. 44th Street around 2 a.m. when she lost control of the vehicle and it flipped on its side, trapping her inside. “The lady was unconscious in the driver’s seat,” Charles Lowe said. It was a scary situation for Lowe, a truck driver who saw the accident as it happened.

CLEVELAND, Ohio. (WOIO/Gray News) - A woman in Ohio says her car was stolen right out of her driveway by an unmarked tow truck and she has no leads as to who took it. Brittany Ealey says her car has been gone for a week now, and with no leads, she’s running out of options. Ealey manages a property on Delavan Avenue on Cleveland’s East Side. And on the morning of March 7, a tow truck came into the yard and took her black 2015 Nissan Rogue. “I’m not sure if it’s a company,” said Ealey.
