NEW YORK CITY (PIX11) – A climate protester painted over a presidential plaque inside Trump Tower Wednesday afternoon, protesting the current “climate collapse,” organizers said. Video shows a protester on his knees in front of a plaque that reads “President of the United States Donald J. Trump,” covered in neon green paint that reads “USA.” Video then shows the protester being restrained and escorted out of the building. Organizers with Extinction Rebellion said the paint was removable chalk.

From Tuesday to May 20, some 47 New York City pizzerias are offering $1 cheese pizza slices through Seamless. The restaurants include beloved chains like Gotham Pizza, where a cheese slice is normally $3, and Rocco Pizza, where slices are usually $4. Slices will also be $1 at seven Marinara Pizza locations, where slices are normally $4, and 2 Bro’s Pizza.

OCEAN COUNTY, N.J. (PIX11) – Videos from New Jersey officials show a massive, 11,500-acre wildfire burning through Ocean County on Tuesday. The fire broke out early Tuesday evening and grew to 11,500 acres by Wednesday morning, according to the New Jersey Forest Fire Service. The blaze is 30% contained, officials said. The fire is burning in the Greenwood Forest Wildlife Management Area near the Ocean, Lacey and Barnegat Townships, officials said.

BRONX, N.Y. (PIX11) – It’s the last week to see thousands of bright flowers at New York Botanical Garden’s annual orchid show. “The Orchid Show: Mexican Modernism” opened in February and will close on Sunday after two late-night events on Friday and Saturday. Thousands of multi-colored flowers have taken over the botanical garden, arranged in vibrant displays with cacti and trees to mimic “the vibrant setting of Mexico,” according to the garden’s website.
