A Bexar County jury is deliberating the fate of Texas rapper Taymore "Tay-K" McIntyre, who is accused of fatally shooting a San Antonio man outside a Chick-Fil-A in 2017. McIntyre, 24, of Arlington, is charged with capital murder in the shooting death of Mark Anthony Saldivar, 23. If found guilty of capital murder, McIntyre could be sentenced to life in prison. Jurors began deliberating about noon on Friday and had not reached a verdict as of 5 p.m., when they were sent home for the weekend.

The lawyer for a Texas rapper facing a capital murder charge on Wednesday continued to take aim at the quality of the police work in the case as he questioned the detective who led the investigation. Taymore "Tay-K" McIntyre, 24, is accused of killing Mark Anthony Saldivar, 23, in the parking lot of a San Antonio Chick-Fil-A in 2017. Prosecutors say Saldivar was a photographer who was invited by McIntyre and his friends for a photo shoot.

A woman who says she was with Taymore "Tay-K" McIntyre when a San Antonio man was shot and killed testified Monday during the Texas rapper's capital murder trial. Joanna Marie Reyes, 27, took the witness stand Monday as one of the state's key witnesses. Reyes said she was in a relationship with McIntyre at the time. She testified that she was the driver of the Black Kia Forte seen fleeing the scene after the fatal shooting of Mark Anthony Saldivar, 23, on April 23, 2017.
