Cashier Pailin Lee said the incident happened after hours, and the restaurant first learned of the break-in through other stores in the shopping center. “When something like this happens, it scares everyone in the restaurant and all neighbors,” Lee said.

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) – A crowd of frustrated “MrBeast” fans gathered on Tuesday in Las Vegas to speak to the Resorts World Las Vegas CEO Alex Dixon. The group was demanding refunds for a three-day experience from April 13-15, in partnership with the popular Youtuber and entrepreneur also known as Jimmy Donaldson, that cost attendees approximately $1,000. The deal, which was advertised as “immersive” and “unforgettable” has now been taken off the hotel’s website.

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) – The Clark County Fair and Rodeo in Logandale, about an hour northeast of Las Vegas, kicked off on Wednesday. Clark County Fair and Rodeo Spokesperson Makenzie Taunau’u told 8 News Now it is their biggest event of the year. “We really do our best to put on a fantastic show for our Las Vegas neighbors that want something a little bit different,” Taunau’u said. There are livestock shows, games, rides, live entertainment, food, and more activities for the family.

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Sex work advocates from across the country gathered at UNLV on Friday to push for changes regarding both state policies and preconceptions of the field. The symposium, with various guest speakers, discussed possible avenues to add further protections for these workers, such as through bills like Nevada Assembly Bill 209, which was introduced in February of this year and would protect sex workers from criminal liability.

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) – A southeast Las Vegas valley neighborhood is frustrated following a string of recent mailbox break-ins. “My client’s checks are getting taken. Our information is getting taken. My wife’s W2 got taken out of the mailbox with all of her information on it, so it’s a pretty severe issue,” Levi Ellyson told 8 News Now. Ellyson said his mailbox has been tampered with four times over the last three years.
