PHOENIX — We're tracking some big changes this week as our next storm moves in. Winds will pick up, temperatures will drop, and we could see rain and snow across Arizona by the end of the week. Here in the Valley, expect breezes back in the forecast on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday with gusts at 25 to 30 mph. Up north and out east, it will get windy. As conditions remain dry on Wednesday and Thursday, those high winds will lead to heightened wildfire danger.

PHOENIX — Happy Tuesday! Temperatures will stay warm for today and tomorrow, with highs in the mid-90s and lows in the 60s here in Phoenix. That's around 10 degrees above normal for this time of year. That next storm system will finally move onshore and into Arizona on Wednesday and Thursday, right as another storm system approaches from the north. As that happens, winds will pick up and temperatures will drop. We're also tracking chances for rain and snow by the end of the week.

PHOENIX — We're starting off the week not as hot, but we will still see temperatures in Phoenix reach the mid-90s through midweek. Other outside factors: UV Index will remain high between 8-10 (meaning your burn time is about 15 minutes without sunblock), Air Quality is moderate, and Heat Risk is minor to moderate. Remember to stay hydrated, limit your time outside in the afternoon, and never leave kids or pets in your car for any amount of time.

PHOENIX — Phoenix tied another record high temperature Saturday. This makes three days straight we have hit record high afternoon temperatures. That streak of records will end after Saturday as we begin to watch temperatures pull back in the coming days. While not as hot, we will still see temperatures in Phoenix reach the mid-90s on Sunday with mostly cloudy skies. Remember to stay hydrated, limit your time outside in the afternoon, and never leave kids or pets in your car for any amount of time.

PHOENIX — Phoenix hit the triple digits for the first time this year! This ties the record for the fourth earliest 100-degree of the year. It also ties the daily heat record of 100 degrees set in 2018. On average, Phoenix sees its first 100-degree day in early May, so this early-season heat comes with a minor to moderate risk of heat exhaustion or heat stroke, especially for children, seniors and outdoor workers.
