The Arizona State Sun Devils are alluding to a release of refreshed football uniforms that will be fully revealed July 1. ASU football’s social media accounts on Thursday posted a graphic of just the necklines of two jerseys, one white and another maroon. “Together, Adidas and Arizona State football are committed to redefining the future of sports by empowering student-athletes, honoring Arizona’s bold spirit and fueling innovation on and off the field,” a fine-print message read.

The piece of legislation that would help the Arizona Diamondbacks upgrade and maintain Chase Field — and ultimately agree to a long-term lease there — is expected to be ready for a final Senate vote. State Senate President Warren Petersen told The Mike Broomhead Show on KTAR News 92.3 FM that an amended version of House Bill 2704 has the support to pass in the Senate, then the House and ultimately get the signature of Gov. Katie Hobbs.

Former Phoenix Suns guard Ricky Rubio thanked Devin Booker for playing an important part in the Spaniard’s NBA career. Booker on Monday posted a snapshot of the letter sent to him by Rubio. Part of the message thanked Booker for allowing Rubio to be the “PG on YOUR team” and for treating him with respect. Rubio mentioned the Suns’ bubble run, where the team went 8-0 in the Disney World bubble created by the NBA coming out of the COVID-19 pandemic delay.
