PHOENIX (AZFamily) — Prepare for a typical June forecast for the next week with dry and hot conditions!This upcoming week will be much different from the start of last week, when we saw rain and much cooler temperatures!Phoenix’s high on Sunday will be 107 under sunny skies. Monday’s high will be a tad warmer at 109. Unfortunately, temperatures will stay above average for the next work week. Metro Phoenix will see temps in the 107-109 range over the next week.

PHOENIX (AZFamily) — Temps are warming up as we head into the first full weekend of June!Look for a high of 106 on Saturday under sunny skies. The Phoenix area will be under another Ozone High Pollution Advisory today. If you have respiratory issues, it is best to limit your time outside. Sunday looks to be a tad warmer, with a high of 107. By Monday, we’re forecasting a high of 108. Unfortunately, temperatures will stay above average for much of the next work week.

PHOENIX (AZFamily) — Federal funding cuts are hurting food banks and the people they serve nationwide, including St. Mary’s in Phoenix. The cuts come at a time when the food bank is seeing record demand and gearing up for a busy summer with kids out of school. “We’re seeing more people than we have at any other time and now we may see an increased amount with the summertime and the possible people losing SNAP at a time when the food supply is shrinking,” Jerry Brown with St. Mary’s Food Bank said.

PHOENIX (AZFamily) — A new study shows Phoenix ranks among the bottom five cities in the country for ozone pollution. The American Lung Association lists Phoenix as the fourth most polluted city in the United States for ozone, only behind three California cities. The report shows our ozone levels are worst than big cities like New York, Dallas and Chicago. In the report, the Phoenix area received a failing grade for the number of high ozone days. The area also received an F for particle pollution.
